The arrival of Christmas always marks a moment of pause. A time to close the year, slow down and look at everything experienced over the last few months with a little more perspective, both on a personal and family level.
For those of us who are part of the Village, this period also invites us to reflect on the value of the experiences shared throughout the year. Children and teenagers grow, change, and gain autonomy almost without us realising, and often it is in these moments of calm that this process becomes more visible.
Every summer we see how the camp becomes a significant stage for many families. Not only because of learning English, but because of everything that happens around it: living together, adapting to a different environment, shared responsibility, and the trust that is built day by day. These are lessons that are not always immediately apparent, but which remain over time.
Closing the year is also an opportunity to thank all the families who have been part of the project for their trust, as well as the commitment of the team who make it possible. Behind every experience there is work, dedication, and a constant desire to offer a caring, safe environment that is consistent with the values that define the Village.
Looking ahead to the new year, we face the next season with the same responsibility and commitment as always: to continue creating experiences that add value and support children and teenagers during a key stage of their growth.
From the Village, we wish you a peaceful holiday season and a Merry Christmas with your loved ones.
